Hi!  Nice to meet you!  Now what?  Here's what to expect during the process of booking me for your wedding...
Kitchener Waterloo Wedding Hairstylist Bride Bridesmaids Bridal Mobile Allene Chomyn
Step 1: getting to know you!  You saw my website and liked my portfolio, and reached out via email.  Thanks!  I'm happy to hear from you!  I will always ask you the date and time of your wedding, at what time you want to be finished getting ready, how many people are in your bridal party, and where you will be located (because I travel to you!), so feel free to include those details in your initial email.

Step 2: brainstorming!  You can send me as many photos as you like, if you have a specific idea of what kind of style you'd like, otherwise we can come up with an idea together that works for you.  This is where the trial comes in handy: getting together before the wedding ensures that I know exactly what you are looking for, and that I can have the best idea of how to most efficiently create your style.  It means less stress for you on your wedding day!

Step 3: the contract!  After we've discussed the logistics (date, time, place, how many styles, and what kinds of styles based on the services I offer), I will create a customized contract for you to read and sign and send back with a 50% deposit.  The deposit is calculated on the total amount of services you've booked with me and is payable immediately, with the other half due on the wedding date.  This ensures that your date is secured in my schedule, and it assures me that you'll be there when I show up!  ;)  I require payment within 5 days of invoice, otherwise I can't guarantee that your date will be available.  Some people prefer to meet me to exchange the contract and payment, and that's totally cool!  I'm happy to meet with my brides prior to their trial date.

Step 4: the Big Day.  I travel to your home, venue, or other location and set up my tools and products, and I'm ready to go.  Everything I need is detailed in my contract, but basically, I need a table, a chair, an electrical outlet, and access to running water, and I'm good to go!  Natural light and a 90s music mix are a welcome bonus.  I always try to style the bride first or early in the day, to ensure that she is done and happy before moving on to the rest of the bridal party.  After that, it's pack and go and leave you to enjoy your happy, amazing wedding day!

*BONUS Step 5: photos!  I love [LOVE] getting photos from my brides after their wedding day!  It's really helpful for me to add current work to my portfolio (I try to take cell phone photos of my styles on the day of, but sometimes things are so busy I forget!), and I just adore seeing professional photos of you, and of my work.  So please feel free to send any shots that you love, and don't mind my sharing on social media.  I will be super grateful!

And... that's about it!  Thanks for reading, and I look forward to working with you!!  <3
